A Visit from America

Last week we had some visitors from Maine, USA. The boys were very excited to meet some American student teachers. They taught us a little bit about American culture, we also played some fun games and learned a little bit about summer camps in Maine. Afterwards Mr Conaghan’s class gave an excellent presentation on Irish history and culture. They discussed topics such as the 1916 Easter Rising, the famine and Irish emigration to the USA.
