We had a great time learning how to prepare and cook our own pizzas. The boys were provided with a selection of toppings and were allowed bring in their own toppings if they wished.
We are now in week 6 in our Couch to 5K training and the boys are really feeling the benefits. It’s great to hear to boys talk about how much further they can run and how their stamina has improved. Their enthusiasm is contagious and we can’t wait for our 5K run on Thursday, 6th April.

The boys from St Davids BNS participated in the Credit Union Table Quiz. This took place on 8 February in Parnell’s GAA Club. The boys had a great night and Bobby even went up on stage to entertain us! The boys who represented the school were Bobby Davis, Sean Pasquetti, Adam Lowry, Karl Popa, Jack Woods, Davids Corbert, Ciaran O’Toole and Cian Graham. Well done, you did David’s proud!
We were delighted when our class was accepted to attend the ‘Fighting Words’ literacy workshop. This workshop is the brainchild of Roddy Doyle and aims to promote the art of storytelling in students in both Primary and Secondary schools. Each writer received their own personalised book of the story which included the illustrations and their photo at the back.
Every year we compete in the Fingal Primary Schools Athletics which are held in Morton Stadium, Santry. This year we entered students in the Boys U-9, U-10, U-11 and U-12 sprint competitions. We also entered a relay team for each age group.
Congratulations to CK Balero who finished 2nd overall in the Boys U-10 100m and the U-10 relay team who qualified for the 4x100m final.
