Turn It Off Campaign
The Green Schools Committee decided to start a ‘Turn It Off’ Campaign in the school, to encourage everyone to always turn off taps and report leaks. They spoke to the whole school at both junior and senior assembly and went to each class to distribute the poster they designed for the campaign. The poster is also on the Green Schools Noticeboard.
Water Workshop November ’17
Three six class representatives from our committee went with Ms. Cahill to a water workshop run by Green Schools. We got lots of useful tips and ideas, got to see some water experiments and hear a speaker from Irish Water. It was a very interesting day and will definitely help us to get our water flag.

Our green school committee has been selected for this year (2017/2018). With the help of Ms. Cahill the committee will be applying for our third green flag under the theme of water.
